What You Will Do
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence
- Patrol assigned areas and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports
- Communicate courteously with customers, employees, supervisors, and emergency responders
- Follow company policies, site-specific post orders, and authorized response procedures
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to incidents
- Ability to meet the licensing, training, and screening requirements for the armed assignment
Required Alabama security credentials and firearms qualifications must be verified before an armed assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous armed-security or protective-services experience
- Military or law-enforcement background
- CPR and/or First Aid certification
Physical Requirements
Officers should be able to perform the essential duties of the position, including standing, walking, and conducting patrols, with or without reasonable accommodation.
