Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner based in Alpharetta, GA. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, performing physical examinations, creating comprehensive care plans, and managing patient records. Responsibilities also include prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Providing patient education on treatment plans and wellness strategies is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and managing patient care plans
- Experience in prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare practices, medical guidelines, and clinical protocols
- Valid Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure in Georgia
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Master's degree in Nursing, or other relevant advanced qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and provide compassionate patient care
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or a related setting is highly advantageous
