The Chief Compliance Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. This executive role encompasses duties of the Corporate Compliance Officer and maintains oversight of multiple critical functions, including compliance, risk management, and human resources. The Chief Compliance Officer conducts compliance and risk management investigations, provides education to medical staff, hospital staff, and the Governing Body, and acts as a strategic resource to the administrative team, department managers, and medical staff. This role manages the administration of benefits for all facility personnel and oversees the Human Resources and Risk Management departments.

The Chief Compliance Officer position requires a combination of healthcare administrative experience, educational qualifications, and blended exposure to compliance and human resources.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical discipline, healthcare/business administration, or health information. Graduate degree preferred but not required.
- 10 years in healthcare administration, with 3-5 years of healthcare compliance experience. CHC credentialing preferred but not required.
- Alternatively, 10 years in healthcare human resources or operations, with relevant compliance experience and/or credentialling.
- Proven team management experience.
Required Skills
- Functional knowledge of compliance, HR, and corporate cultural development.
- Ability to forecast program, staffing, budgetary, space, and equipment needs.
- Effective communication (verbal and written) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments, balance priorities, and make decisions quickly.
