Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers (including airless paint spraying), and power tools
- Perform construction painting on both interior and exterior surfaces of residential homes.
- Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper equipment and adhering to protocols during all phases of work
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet client specifications and industry standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (sanders, sprayers), and industrial equipment used in painting and surface preparation
- Strong experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, renovation work, and restoration projects
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and maintenance protocols to ensure a secure working environment
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
