What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse - Shipping/Receiving/Delivery Driver position at Buffalo Xerographix Inc.?
Position Overview:
This position of Warehouse/Delivery Driver would be responsible for keeping the warehouse inventory organized, shipping and receiving, equipment deliveries and other duties as assigned. Mechanically inclined a plus! Full time hours will be Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Inventory control.
2. Stock shelves and maintain inventory of products.
3. Organize warehouse with proper placement of equipment, supplies and parts.
4. Picking, packing, and shipping out on time and accurately.
5. Receiving expeditiously and accurately, following company procedures.
6. Drive box truck to deliver/pickup/move copier equipment.
7. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Drivers License
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Time management/organization/prioritization skills; ability to meet deadlines and make effective decisions.
· Strong attention to detail skills and proactive
· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, co-workers and external parties.
· Ability to multi task, works effectively under pressure, and be flexible.
· Ability to work non-standard hours as needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Must have a professional positive attitude and have strong administrative/problem solving skills.
· Mechanically and technically inclined is a plus!
ADA Requirements:
· Frequently: use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repetitive motions.
Bend or twist the body when operating equipment. Able to communicate verbally.
· Moderate to occasional: Move equipment up to 800lbs using any means including stairs, ramps, dollies, lift-gates, and stair-climbers. Team-lift or carry up to 100lbs. Walking, sitting, kneeling, and crouching.
Salary : $20 - $24
