- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders swiftly and accurately
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food handling stations in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food prep tasks like bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple responsibilities seamlessly in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or working in a quick service & fast-food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store transactions, and retail math calculations
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
