Service Tech

As a Buffalo Strive Vending Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of vending machines across various locations in Buffalo. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks related to vending machine installation, repairs, and customer service. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our vending service operations. *This is an entry-level position with the potential to grow in to a Senior Level Tech Position, based on work performance and time and attendance.

Responsibilities:
- Install, set up, and configure vending machines at designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vending machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with vending machines, including but not limited to coin mechanisms, bill validators, dispensing mechanisms, and refrigeration systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts to restore vending machines to working condition.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock vending machines with products according to established standards.
- Collect and accurately account for cash and inventory from vending machines during routine visits.
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, parts usage, and inventory levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving customer inquiries or complaints related to vending machines.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize vending machine placement and product selection based on customer preferences and sales data.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new vending technology, and best practices to continually enhance service quality.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in vending machine repair, maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of vending machine components and systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and diagrams.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy vending machine components and perform physical tasks as required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
