If you are currently an active substitute with BHM Schools, it is not necessary to re-apply annually.
Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District # 877 is accepting applications for substitute custodians for the current school year. We are seeking dependable substitutes who are available to work in the district on an on-call basis. If you are interested in substituting in this position, please complete the online application found on this page. Before working as a substitute, you will need to complete a background check and attend an orientation.
Status: Substitute Custodial positions
Location: All BHM School Buildings
Schedule: Shift hours are afternoons and evenings of school days only, no weekends.
Hours: Enjoy a flexible schedule & work as often as you wish! Shifts range from 4-8 hours, exact shift hours & breaks may vary depending upon building need.
Beginning: As Agreed Upon
Pay Schedule: $18.00/Hour or $19.00 for Current or Retired BHM employees

- A Substitute Custodian performs general cleaning to provide pleasant and safe surroundings for staff and students.
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to be flexible in job assignments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
