Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Alma, WI, for a Public Health Nurse. The Public Health Nurse will be responsible for promoting and protecting community health through various public health initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include conducting health assessments, implementing community health programs, providing case management services, and delivering health education. Collaborating with other health professionals and community organizations is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong capabilities in Public Health Nursing and Community Health practices
- Proficiency in Nursing and a solid foundation in Medicine
- Experience or skills in Case Management to ensure comprehensive care for individuals and families
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community organizations
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience in public or community health settings is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred
