U.S. Summer Seasonal Temporary Positions (April 15, 2026 - October 15, 2026)

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority operates the Peace Bridge, a public benefit corporation governed by a bi-national Board of Directors and chartered by New York State, with consent of the United States Congress, and the Federal Government of Canada. Our mission is to be known as the premier Canada-United States international border crossing, providing excellence in customer service and an effective conduit for trade and tourism. We are the second largest border crossing between the United States and Canada with approximately six million vehicles crossing the border on an annual basis.

We are currently recruiting for the following U.S. Summer Seasonal Temporary positions:

· Toll/Traffic - 2 positions (collecting tolls, directing traffic) 40 hours per week, must be able to work various shifts to support a 24/7 operation including weekends. This position requires you to cross the border into Canada as Tolls are located on the Canadian side of the border. Please quote job # 2026-06F/G

· Maintenance - 2 positions (Grounds work, lawn cutting, gardening, painting) 40 hours per week. Please quote job # 2026-06C/D

If you have excellent customer service skills, cash handling experience, and/or ground maintenance experience, come and join our team this summer!

If you have a minimum education of a high school diploma, and/or equivalent or currently in post-secondary education with a minimum of one (1) year experience working with the public, handling cash, identifying counterfeit money and/or performing general maintenance duties such as gardening, planting, weeding, lawn cutting, painting, we would like to hear from you.

Each seasonal position offers an hourly rate of $17.75. Variable shifts are days, afternoons and midnights to support a 24/7 operation. Safety shoe allowance and uniforms are provided.

This position is conditional upon possession of and maintenance of a valid driver’s license, security clearance through border agencies, passport or enhanced driver’s license or a NEXUS trusted traveler card. Must be able to apply for and receive a NEXUS card. Reimbursement is available once you receive the card.
