Job Summary
Buescher & Company, LLC is looking to hire a staff accountant to work in our Madison, FL office. The staff accountant will work on corporate and individual income tax preparation, bookkeeping and financial statement preparation, and payroll tax returns and deposits. The successful candidate will have tax experience and CPA certification is a plus. Minimum four-year accounting degree required. Excellent opportunity to advance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Individual income tax preparation
- Corporate income tax preparation
- State and Federal payroll tax returns and deposits
- Bookkeeping
- Financial statement preparation
- Bank reconciliations
Qualifications and Skills
- 4-year Accounting degree
- CPA certification preferred
- Tax experience preferred (UltraTax software experience a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Customer-service oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Reliable and punctual
