What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Track and Field and Cross Country Coach position at BUENA VISTA UNIVERSITY?
Buena Vista University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C), is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Track and Field and Cross Country Coach.
Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of the men’s and women’s intercollegiate track and field and cross country programs, specifically recruiting student-athletes, supporting student-athletes throughout their collegiate careers, assisting with meet management, helping to develop and maintain alumni relations, establishing civic engagement opportunities in the community, and fundraising. This position will be responsible for coaching throwing events. As a member of the athletics department, there may be other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree is preferred.
