The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all interactions.
Duties
- Safely operate Amazon delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring that all items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and dispatchers during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
Requirements
- Valid SAFE driver's license with a safe driving record; 1 plus years in delivery driving industry driving a high roof van.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients, dispatchers and Amazon warehouse staff.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.
- Physically step in and out of delivery van 200 times per day.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety practices while driving and handling products.
