Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients when needed
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
- Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal as required
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices
