Responsibilities
- Prepare and package a variety of meat products, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality control
- Perform visual inspections for quality assurance, checking for freshness, proper trimming, and overall product appearance
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace
- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about meat cuts, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Manage perishable goods by proper storage, rotation, and inventory control to minimize waste
- Use basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and pricing products accurately
