This position supports both our laboratory and production areas, depending on daily priorities. You’ll help with calibrating test blocks and processing customer orders. Full training will be provided and no prior experience with our equipment is required.

Shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM

What You’ll Do

  • Use a computer for data entry and basic tasks every day.

  • Operate lab equipment (training provided) to calibrate test blocks and ensure they meet specifications.

  • Package and stock finished test blocks following clear instructions.

  • Perform simple visual inspections to check quality standards.

  • Operate basic production tools like stamping machines, buffers, and grinders (training provided).

  • Identify and report any quality issues to your supervisor.

  • Keep paperwork and documentation organized according to department guidelines.

  • Use simple measuring tools like micrometers (we’ll teach you how).

  • Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable using a computer for data entry and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Basic math skills normally acquired from a high school education.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and quality standards.

  • Willing to learn how to use precision tools and equipment (training provided).

  • Able to work well with others in a team setting.

  • Capable of lifting packages up to 40 lbs.

Compensation Information:

The salary for this position is $33,280-$36,400. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
