In Short:
You will be responsible for removing product from our production line and stacking it on pallets according to work order specifications in preparation for shipping.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Participate in mandatory stretching exercise program
- Receive direction and work orders from Supervisor
- Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition
- Remove split stone from conveyor belts and verify that it meets specifications
- Trim stone to specifications as needed
- Place stones on pallets according to color, size, and quality
- Maintain quality standards
- Band and wrap pallets for transport
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Follow all safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification and Competency Requirements:
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Dependable
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; 100 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend frequently
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Detail oriented
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
Work Conditions:
