Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Marine Surveyor(s) and Commercial Diver(s). The Marine Surveyor and Commercial Diver will be responsible for conducting inspections and surveys of various marine vessels, including push/tow boats and barges. Day-to-day tasks will include performing marine surveys, inspecting vessel operations, assessing the condition of marine equipment, and reporting findings, underwater mechanical inspections, pump and patch. The roles require a thorough understanding of marine industry standards and naval architecture principles.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Inspection and Marine Survey
- Strong knowledge of the Marine Industry and Vessel Operations
- Understanding of Naval Architecture principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant certifications in Marine Surveying and Commercial Diving are a plus
- Experience in the maritime sector is highly beneficial
- Experienced or new Commercial Divers
- Blackwater Experience
- Familiarity with barge and towboat nomenclature/operations
- Small boat operator experience
