What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vet Assistant/Receptionist position at Budreau Vet Clinic?
Seeking full-time employee for a busy veterinary clinic in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The ideal candidate must have vet assistant/technician experience, be reliable, able to handle fast paced work environment and be able to multi-task. Be able to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
Checking patients in and out (computer work, money handling & etc)
Preparing vaccinations and other medications for patients
Maintaining patient records
Willing to learn how to do bloodwork, x-rays, help in surgeries and etc.
Kennel work, cleaning, and many other tasks as assigned
Work schedule includes alternating Saturday mornings (usually get Thursday p.m. off if work Sat a.m.)
