Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aerospace Quality Engineer located in Berlin, CT. The Aerospace Quality Engineer will oversee quality engineering, assurance, and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring product quality, conducting inspections, developing quality management programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the role involves addressing non-conformances, performing root cause analysis, and supporting audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Engineering and Quality Control practices
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and the ability to uphold high Product Quality standards
- Experience in Quality Management systems and methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent organizational and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Working knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Experience with tools and techniques such as statistical analysis, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
