Accountant - BUDHAGIRL LLC
We are BUDHAGIRL LLC, a Dallas-based lifestyle brand built on the philosophy of Mindful Glamour®, encouraging customers to turn daily routines into rituals of intention and gratitude. Our signature product is the iconic All Weather Bangle® (AWB®), along with a growing collection of jewelry and accessories. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented independent contractor to join our team.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
QuickBooks Desktop Expertise
- Accurately enter new SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) directly into the QuickBooks Desktop inventory system.
- Create assembly builds in QuickBooks Desktop to correctly track inventory, components, and costs related to production.
- Enter Accounts Payable (AP) invoices into the QuickBooks Desktop system, ensuring proper coding and vendor details.
Daily Reconciliation
- Reconcile daily deposits in QuickBooks Desktop, matching bank statements or processor reports to the general ledger.
Accounts Payable (AP) Process Management
- Manage the Outlook AP inbox, organizing and prioritizing incoming vendor communications and invoices.
- Log into vendor websites as needed to download and retrieve electronic invoices and statements.
- Send purchase orders (POs) to vendors, ensuring they match the system records.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is required.
- Expert proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop is mandatory. Experience with inventory features and assembly builds is highly preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook for email management.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and ERP systems a major plus.
