Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled wrecker driver to join our team in Wagoner, OK. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating a flatbed wrecker and a strong mechanical knowledge. In this role you will perform towing vehicles, performing lock outs, jump starts and tire changes safely while providing excellent customer service. The Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of vehicles, including tow trucks, to transport vehicles.
- Provide towing and roadside assistance in a safe, professional, timely manner free of accident, injury and damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups, addressing any client inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Skills
- Experience operating tow trucks is a preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with load unloading procedures and safety practices.
- Basic automotive repair skills are highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- CDL not required but preferred.
