What are the responsibilities and job description for the RV Dealership Floater position at BUDGET RV, INC.?
Job Summary:
Busy travel trailer and fifth wheel dealership is looking for applicants to fill a position to assist the staff of all departments. Applicants must be flexible and able to multi-task. This is the perfect job for someone that likes variety and is a people-person. Experience with Word, Excel, Canva, and website management is helpful. Knowledge of campers is not necessary. On-the-job training is provided. Driver's license is required.
Hours:
- 4 days per week during summer busy season, 3 days per week in off-season
- Average 24-28 hours per week during busy season, 18-20 in off-season
- 10 am - 5 pm with 30 min lunch, can change from time to time
- Must be available to work most Fridays and occasional Saturdays
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Answer phones
- Take messages
- File documents
- Enter into a spreadsheet
- Make folders
- Post to website and/or facebook
- Assist customers at cash register
- Place online parts orders
- List parts that need to be ordered
- Put parts away
- Upkeep store - vacuum, sweep, mop, breakdown boxes, tidy bathroom if needed
- Assist shop with detailing units if needed
- Greet customers in store and on lot when salesperson isn't available
- Work in a team-oriented business.
- Everyone helps where needed, so there may be other things requested of the applicant
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing RV parts and accessories.
- Greet customers on the lot.
- Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and organizing merchandise displays.
- Operate cash register functions accurately, processing sales transactions and handling cash efficiently using a dealer managment system.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in both the parts department and office areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across all departments while addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
