We’re looking for an Outside Sales Manager to drive growth across the Kansas City metro and surrounding markets, including Lawrence, Wichita, Hutchinson (KS), and Omaha and Lincoln (NE).
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating strategy, and growing a book of business from the ground up. You’ll own the full sales cycle—prospecting, presenting, closing, and expanding client accounts—while shaping our local-market strategy through data, insight, and creativity.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, prospect, and cold call small to mid-sized businesses to generate qualified B2B leads
- Build and manage a portfolio of corporate, government, and group rental clients
- Create targeted sales and marketing campaigns aligned with market opportunities
- Strengthen client relationships through ongoing communication and personalized service
- Work cross-functionally with operations and marketing to ensure a seamless client experience
- Track market trends and provide insights that help influence business strategy
- Represent Budget Kansas City at client meetings, industry events, and community engagements
- Proven B2B sales experience with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to design and execute sales strategies that drive measurable results
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Confidence in conducting market and customer analysis to identify opportunities
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for building tailored solutions
- Experience managing or supporting key client accounts or a sales territory
- Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
