Bilingual Customer Service Rep

Overview
Insurance Agency is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Rep to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you will provide professional service for new and renewal accounts, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and dependable support *Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

Duties

• Manage client inquiries by phone, email, and mail in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all communications.
• Prioritize workflow and follow operating procedures for processing applications, changes, renewals, endorsements, riders and cancellations
• Market and submit new business accounts to in-house and wholesale markets; track from initial submission to binding
• Manage renewals by reviewing, remarketing, obtaining competitive quotes and educating clients on coverage options
• Assume ownership of customer concerns until resolution is achieved
• Assist with client retention, cross-selling, upselling, and generating referrals
• Comply with internal procedures and meet established service goals and performance standards
• Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Expand insurance knowledge through continuing education and training (agency-supported)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of insurance experience with an independent insurance broker
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• A passion for delivering excellent service and solving problems proactively
