Budget Blinds is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Window Treatment Installer to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer service, this is a career—not just a job.
Every day is different as you install custom window coverings that transform homes throughout the Hudson Valley.
What You'll Do
- Install custom blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and motorized window treatments
- Review work orders and prepare materials before each installation
- Ensure every installation is completed accurately, safely, and professionally
- Educate homeowners on the operation and care of their new products
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Communicate with the office regarding job progress and any field issues
- Represent Budget Blinds with professionalism and outstanding customer service
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Friendly and comfortable working in customers' homes
- Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work
- Able to think through problems and adapt in the field
- Organized and able to work independently
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in residential and commercial environments
- Construction, finish carpentry, cabinetry, remodeling, or installation experience is preferred
- Experience installing window treatments is a plus—but we're willing to train the right person with a strong mechanical aptitude
