What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Installation Technician position at Budget Blinds of Madison?
No experience? No problem. We'll train you and pay you while you learn.
Budget Blinds is growing fast. We need another installer to keep up. You'll be out in the field every day installing blinds, shades, and shutters in offices, hotels, schools, hospitals, and more. It's real work with real variety. No two days look the same.
We give you everything you need to succeed. A work truck. A phone. Every tool for the job. Paid training from day one. You're good at what you do, you can move up to Lead Installer and run your own crew.
What You'll Do
- Install window treatments in commercial buildings (and some homes)
- Handle repairs and service calls
- Talk with customers and project managers on site
- Keep job sites clean when you're done
- Track your installation paperwork
- Help organize materials and orders back at the shop
- Use email and Google Chat to stay connected
What You Need
- Valid driver's license
- Clean background check
- High school diploma or GED
- Can lift 50 pounds
- Can climb ladders and work on scaffolding
- Comfortable on your feet all day
- Show up on time, every time
- Good with people
Trade or construction experience is a bonus, but we don't require it. We'll teach you everything.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM
- 40 to 50 hours per week
- Some Saturdays
