Budget Blinds Serving Dothan & Enterprise (the largest window covering franchise in North America) is in search of a qualified candidate to join our fun team. This is a great money making opportunity where you’ll be able to use your consultative selling experience and time management skills while helping our clients beautify their homes and businesses with the best in custom window treatments.
Sales: Using our proven sales system you will confidentially sell and educate clients on window covering products, accurately and efficiently process customer transactions through clearly written sales orders, and drive the sale to a quick and satisfying ending through effective communication between office staff, vendors, and your client.
Lead generation: Budget Blinds has a robust lead generation program both locally and nationally that will provide many great selling opportunities. From national magazines like Family Circle, websites like Houzz, to your local radio stations, we are one of the most aggressive advertisers of window coverings in the industry. Beyond the numerous leads provided you’ll be able to develop relationships with real estate agents and builders to provide an on-going stream of repeat business.
Ideal Design Sales Representative will have:
- The motivation to learn new products and sales skills
- 3 years of related experience working with clients in a consultative selling model
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- A definite sense of style that can be communicated to prospects
- An excellent driving record
- The desire to do what ever it takes to meet personal and organizational goals
The Ideal Design Sales Representative must:
- Be able to climb a 5 foot ladder and reach over head
- Bend, reach, and twist to accurately measure windows
- Be able to lift samples weighing up to 50 pounds
- Be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16th of an inch
- Be available to work until dusk with occasional later appointments
- Be available on Saturdays as needed

In addition to Sales opportunity the position requires installation of sold products.
We are looking for an blended Sales Representative and Installer who can:
- Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments
- Perform window treatment repairs
- Receive customer payments
- Maintain proper installation paperwork
- Clean customer premises of installation debris and dust
- Receive product and organize warehouse
Installer Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience that make a successful candidate:
- Prior general workmanship skills from any industry. Experience in working as an in-home installer is a plus.
- Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people.
- Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients.
- Current and valid driver's license and insurance.
- Safe driving history
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check plus clean driving record with no felonies.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
- High school diploma or equivalent completed education level desired.
