Role Description: This is a part-time, on-site Showroom Consultant role based in New Hampton, NH. The Showroom Consultant welcomes customers to the showroom, actively listens to their needs, and guides them through product options, fabric choices, and design styles for custom window coverings. This role involves presenting product features and benefits, creating professional quotes, and coordinating follow-up to ensure a smooth experience from initial visit to installation. The consultant maintains a clean, organized, visually appealing showroom and supports merchandising and product displays. Day-to-day responsibilities also include answering phone and email inquiries, scheduling consultations, collaborating with the installation and sales teams, and consistently promoting high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in Showrooms, maintaining an organized, welcoming, and visually appealing environment.
- Solid Product Knowledge of window treatments or a willingness to learn product features, options, and applications.
- Clear, professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers, team members, and community partners.
- Prior experience in retail, interior design, home décor, or a related field is beneficial.
- Comfort using basic computer tools and point-of-sale or CRM systems for quotes, scheduling, and customer records.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move product samples, and work a consistent full-time schedule, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in design, sales, or customer service is a plus.
