Interior Design Consultant

Job Title: Interior Design Consultant & Business Development Specialist Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000 per year (Uncapped Commission-Based)

About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of business development, networking, and lead generation to join our growing team. While you'll conduct in-home consultations and help clients select custom window treatment solutions, the primary focus of this role is developing new business opportunities and building a strong referral network.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, creating strategic partnerships, networking in the community, and generating their own opportunities. Design experience is helpful, but the ability to build relationships and consistently generate qualified leads is far more important.

Key Responsibilities

· Actively generate new business through networking, referral partnerships, community involvement, and relationship-building activities

· Develop and maintain strategic relationships with realtors, builders, interior designers, property managers, and other referral sources

· Attend networking events, home shows, chamber events, and community functions to create new opportunities

· Build and manage a consistent pipeline of self-generated leads

· Conduct in-home consultations and recommend customized window treatment solutions

· Present proposals and confidently close sales during appointments

· Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial consultation through project completion

· Cultivate long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals

· Stay current on product offerings, design trends, and sales and business development strategies

Required

· Proven business development, outside sales, or relationship-based sales experience

· Demonstrated success generating your own leads and building a sales pipeline

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills

· Excellent communication, presentation, and closing abilities

· Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to control your own income

· Ability to work independently and consistently create new opportunities

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

· Experience with in-home sales

· Experience in the home improvement, interior design, construction, real estate, or related industries

· Design experience or an interest in interior design

· Experience working in a commission-based sales environment

Compensation & Benefits

· Uncapped commission structure (target earnings $75,000–$125,000 )
