Role Description
The SR Accountant is a full-time, on-site role located in Ballinger, TX, responsible for all inventory and costing processes for a large manufacturer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual cost reports.
- Estimate costs for new projects or product lines.
- Closely monitor inventory for accuracy and proper costing.
- Manage all physical counts of inventory in a warehouse environment.
- Maintain accounting control procedures.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness for inventory and costing.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies related to inventory or costing.
- Work closely with other departments to assist with new item setup.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Three to Five years accounting experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Work requires willingness to work some extended hours.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Office environment and warehouse exposure.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
Pay: $84,519.81 - $101,787.30 per year
