What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Sports Coach position at Buddy the Ball?
Looking for a part-time job that's fun, active, and rewarding? We're looking for enthusiastic people to lead small-group tennis activities for children ages 3–9. Our classes focus on basic hand-eye-racket coordination, movement, fun, and confidence-building.
No tennis skills needed — we'll provide complete training, equipment, and lesson plans.
What You'll Do:
- Lead fun, age-appropriate tennis games and drills for groups of up to 13 children.
- Travel to one school at a time to coach a single class.
- Set up, organize, and pack away gear for each session.
- Create a safe, positive environment where all kids feel encouraged.
- Stay in touch with parents, teachers, and program coordinators.
- Keep equipment in top condition.
Requirements:
- Love for child development and physical activity.
- Reliable car and willingness to travel.
- Strong people skills and a high energy, friendly, & patient attitude.
- Availability for weekday shifts (9am, 10am, 2pm, and/or 3pm).
- Background check and TB test will be required during the onboarding process.
- CPR/First Aid preferred, not required.
