Overview
Buddy Squirrel and Quality Candy factory store is the last retail location for the iconic Wisconsin chocolate brand. Our factory store offers customers a unique, nostalgic, and fun shopping experience right where our products are made. We are looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Retail Associate to join our factory store team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, takes pride in presentation, and loves great chocolate.
Duties
- Provide a welcoming and positive customer experience
- Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
- Restock shelves and assist with merchandising displays
- Package products and assist with gift orders as needed
- Support seasonal promotions and busy holiday periods
- Perform opening & closing duties for the store
Experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light items
- Prior retail or food service experience is a plus (but not required)
