Our Hosts play an essential role in serving our guests and delivering a great dining experience! Buddy’s offers a fun working environment with competitive pay, meal benefits and growth opportunities.
Essential Functions:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients
- Ensure guests are satisfied and extend a friendly farewell inviting guests back
- Assist guests when on a waiting list
- Coordinate the flow of seating throughout the shift while maintaining the waiting list
- Suggestively sells all menu items
- Observes guests and responds to any additional needs
- Demonstrating excitement and enthusiasm
- Follows health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Experience in the restaurant industry
- High energy working to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and the team
- Dependable team player with successful record of work attendance
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability reach, lift, bend and carry heavy objects
- Must adhere to Buddy’s uniform policy and standards at all times
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
