Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food preparation tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to ensure timely service during high-volume periods
- Follow food production guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Adhere strictly to food safety management practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols
- Support the dietary department by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with special meal preparations when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments, especially with grilling or food production roles
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cuts of beef
- Experience with dietary aide tasks, menu planning, or fine dining environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in high-volume production settings
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations to ensure compliance
