Responsibilities:
Working as part of the People Team, the People Coordinator will support various areas within the People Department including but not limited to onboarding, recruitment, policies and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive employee experience.
- Plans and coordinates all onboarding and offboarding for staff, temporary and freelance hires.
- Acts as a recruiter across different departments and levels.
- First point of contact for general employee inquiries.
- Benefits
- Administers various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, HSA, dental,vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and 401(k).
- Maintains employee benefits filing systems and ensures benefits changes are entered appropriately in the payroll system for payroll deduction.
- Supports ACA processing and reporting
- Tracks temp eligibility for benefits and 401k.
- Assists with preparation and coordination of the performance review process.
- HRIS & Employee Data Management:
- Serves as the company’s subject-matter expert for the HRIS (UKG).
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR drive organization.
- Processes all personnel changes, ensuring systems reflect current employee data.
- Pulls reports as requested.
- Payroll Support:
- Coordinates timecard reconciliation and personnel changes for payroll processing.
- Tracks and processes time-off requests.
- Responds to Unemployment Notices and Employment Verifications as needed.
- Participates in various cultural initiatives.
- Acknowledges employee milestones and life events.
- Maintains and updates the Company intranet/ hub.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in an HR role
- Experience processing time cards preferred, but not required.
- Strong G Suite skills
- Entertainment Industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience with UKG, slack and Filemaker Pro a plus!
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
