Job Overview
We do small batches of custom products, primarily iron and sheet metal.
We also need the person to have some mechanical understanding (taking things apart, welding, reassembly).
Vehicle mechanical experience a plus.
You will need at least 5 years experience.
Looking for welders making small to medium size parts in a shop environment then assembling the parts.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble iron metal products -you must have at least 5 years experience.
- Utilize various welding techniques and processes, usually just MIG but sometimes could be TIG, and stick welding.
- Build to blueprints and technical drawings with limited supervision.
- Take apart metal or mechanical devices, make a replacement piece, reassemble.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Mechanical understanding - taking apart something, manufacturing a replacement part, reassembly.
- Sheer metal, bend, snip, form into component parts
- Some vehicle mechanical experience (trucks, trailers, etc.)
- Must have 5 years or more in a shop environment.
- Forklift experience required.
