Role Summary                                                            

Assist with loading and unloading, and to provide efficient warehousing and storage services, minimize damage of customer property going into and out of storage. 

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                           

• Open and or close the warehouse. 
• Load and unload pallets and trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Pad and wrap furniture and fixtures in warehouse. 
• Build storage pallets and crates.
• Ensure warehouse facilities are neat and well organized.
• Assist warehouse supervisor with inventory control.
• Stock packing material.
• Pull packing orders for drivers.
• Compact used boxes in compactor
• Maintain forklift certification.
• Ability to process shipments, checking off and exceptions.
• Train new/temporary/summer hires on padding, wrapping and vaulting.
• Assist the Facilities Department when needed.
• Other tasks as assigned or requested by supervisor / manager.

Compensation

Hourly Range: $20 -$23 per hour
Final offer will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Qualifications and Experience                                                           

• Woodshop experience helpful; will train if necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
