What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial HVAC Estimator/Project Manager position at BUDD MECHANICAL SYSTEMS?
We are a 105-year-old, family-owned & operated company with a long-standing reputation for quality, integrity, & service. We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator/Project Manager to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate commercial HVAC projects from plans, specifications, & bid documents.
- Perform material and labor takeoffs & obtain vendor/subcontractor pricing.
- Manage projects from contract award through completion and closeout.
- Coordinate with customers, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, & field personnel.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, & billing.
- Identify & resolve project issues while maintaining schedule & profitability.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of commercial HVAC estimating/project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems & construction practices.
- Ability to read mechanical plans & specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, & problem-solving skills.
- Experience with estimating & construction management software preferred.
- HVAC field experience is a plus.
