Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Buda, TX, for a Police Officer at the Buda Police Department. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, conducting patrols, enforcing local, state, and federal laws, and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls. Additional responsibilities include conducting criminal investigations, managing evidence, and providing guidance to ensure community safety and crime prevention.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Police work and Law Enforcement practices
- Proficiency in handling and managing Evidence and conducting Criminal Investigations
- Understanding of laws and regulations relevant to policing and Law Enforcement
- Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies and the community
- Physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical demands of police work
- Completion of police academy training and valid state certification in law enforcement
- Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license
