We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated RV Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a wide variety of recreational vehicles, ranging from motorhomes to travel trailers. Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot complex issues across various RV systems, including coach interiors, chassis components, and exterior structures.
- Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards.
- Systems Repair: Perform skilled repairs on hydraulic leveling systems, slide-outs, and sophisticated electrical systems (both AC and DC).
- Mechanical Mastery: Service and repair mechanical components including brakes, suspension, water systems (plumbing), and LP gas systems.
- Precision Tool Usage: Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment, power tools, and hand tools with a high degree of proficiency and safety.
- Documentation: Accurately record all work performed, parts used, and time spent using our digital shop management system.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic repair (RV-specific experience is a major plus, but we also value backgrounds in automotive, heavy equipment, or marine repair).
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to read schematics and use multimeters or other diagnostic tools to trace electrical faults.
- Physical Dexterity: Comfortable working in tight spaces, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn new technologies (such as solar integration and advanced multiplexing) and a willingness to attend manufacturer training and certification programs.
- Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a consistent track record of punctuality and professional conduct.
