What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker/Packer position at Bud K Worldwide, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
- Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation
- Able to accurately use basic math skills
- Packing orders to ensure that customers receive orders intact in a short time frame and as accurate as possible, while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Fills orders from tickets timely
- Orders filled manually by walking and use of pallet jack
- Identify product by description and quantity then removing product from area and carrying to packing station
- Check for accuracy in order picking/packing
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders in shipping department
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Keeping work zone clean and orderly so that warehouse is a safe and clean work environment
- Communicating with warehouse Shipping Manager with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties
- Performing other duties and tasks as requested by the Shipping Manager
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able push and pull up to 150lbs
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 to 50lbs
- Must be able to constantly bend, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
