Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to join our team and experience the unique opportunity of rural healthcare at its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care, ensuring every patient and family feels respected and supported.
• Triage, assess, and stabilize emergency department patients with confidence, partnering closely with the on-site physician.
• Deliver skilled nursing care to acute inpatients, including medication administration, monitoring, and care coordination.
• Care for swing bed patients, supporting their ongoing recovery while maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Multi-task seamlessly between ER, acute, and swing duties—turning variety into a rewarding opportunity to broaden your skills and make a greater impact.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure trust and continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Document all care thoroughly and accurately in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
• Respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations, keeping patient safety and service excellence as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility).
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred (required within 90 days of employment).
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability to varied patient needs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Previous ED, acute care, or swing bed experience a plus—but we are willing to train motivated candidates.

Pay Range: $45.00 – 48.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule

• Full-time
• Every other weekend requirement. May be granted less of a weekend requirement dependent on the unit needs as determined by management.
