The School of Health Sciences is seeking a knowledgeable and committed part-time faculty member to join the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program to teach Cross-Sectional Anatomy. The successful candidate will will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality classroom instruction in both lecture and/or laboratory settings, in alignment with the approved course curriculum. The instructor will select and utilize a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to ensure that the needs of individual students in the program are met. Primary Job Duties Assess student learning using appropriate methods. Actively engage students in classroom discussions and/or activities. Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course curriculum. Complete all course assessments as required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Three years of experience in an educational institution Three years of experience scanning in a clinical setting. RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/Gyn Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching Cross-Sectional Anatomy. Experience educating and supervising students in a clinical setting.
