Overview
We are seeking an experienced server/bartender with shift lead experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily service operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality guest service
- Manage bar and dining area, including serving drinks, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Utilize Toast POS for order entry, cash handling, and sales processing with accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and promptly addressing their needs
- Supervise and support team members, including training new staff on food safety, serving techniques, POS operations, daily server cash outs, and guest recovery
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and alcohol service regulations
- Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
- Handle cash transactions accurately while managing sales reports at the end of each shift
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere suitable for various settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet events
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant server, bartender, or FOH shift leader; experience preferred
- Strong knowledge or ability to learn Toast POS
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy shifts
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate billing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to lead a team efficiently while maintaining high standards of service
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or brewing experience is advantageous
