Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests.
- Conduct routine inspections of the buildings, equipment, and systems.
- Perform basic repairs, including but not limited to replacing lightbulbs, replacing HVAC filters, basic plumbing, drywall repair, and painting.
- Coordinate with vendors for all non-basic repairs, including meeting contractors at the sites.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedule to ensure general upkeep and that township and code requirements are met.
- Develop and implement facilities oversight documents and binder for each site location.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Assist in negotiating contracts for services such as lawn care, snow removal, garbage collection, etc.
- Demonstrate a proficient understanding of the fire alarm systems and act as main point of contact for emergency calls.
- Perform routine pest control monthly.
- Assist with managing agency vehicle fleet including tracking and scheduling inspections and maintenance.
- Position supports other BCOC departments/functions as needed ( i.e. transport furniture or items between offices, assist with food distributions and deliveries, set up for meetings, etc).
- Provide support for IT under the direction of the Director of Quality Control.
