Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Kitchen & Interior Millwork Designer to join our team. This role involves designing custom cabinetry, kitchens, and interior woodwork solutions from concept through production. This is a fast-paced creative position that requires an individual with strong initiative, professionalism, and excellent multi-tasking/prioritizing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom kitchens, cabinetry, and interior millwork using CAD software
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to develop design concepts· Prepare detailed shop drawings and specifications for production
- Select materials, finishes, and hardware
- Ensure designs meet client expectations, budgets, and timelines
- Revise designs based on feedback and field measurements
Qualifications:
- Experience in kitchen design, interior design, and/or architectural millwork
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, SketchUp, or similar)
- Strong understanding of construction industry standards, methods, and materials
- Familiar with CNC production process· Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- 3-D renderings capabilities are a plus
