Concrete Finisher Laborer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flatwork and foundation concrete finishing, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. This role requires a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to completing projects efficiently and to high standards. Prior experience in framing or general construction is a plus, but a strong focus on concrete finishing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
• Perform concrete pouring for foundations, flatwork, and other structures with precision and attention to detail
• Install rebar according to project specifications to ensure structural integrity
• Construct formwork necessary for concrete placement, ensuring proper alignment and stability
• Finish concrete surfaces to meet quality standards, including smoothing, leveling, and texturing as required
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
• Take pride in producing high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing, particularly in flatwork and foundation pouring
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently at all times
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience with rebar installation and formwork construction preferred
• General construction experience is a plus but not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates strong concrete finishing skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently every day with minimal supervision
• A positive attitude and commitment to doing quality work with attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
