Shift: 12 Hours – 6 PM - 6 AM and 6 AM TO 6 PM

Job Schedule: PRN/Occasional

We are seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our community committed to delivering outstanding care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play an important role in monitoring vital signs, fostering meaningful connections with residents, and championing their overall well-being. What you'll do:

• Ensure resident care is the best it can be by following the care plan.
• Get to know our residents by sharing stories with them while providing comfort, transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs.
• Contribute to community harmony by providing emotional and social support to residents.
• Help residents with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and helping them bathe.
• Safely lift and reposition residents as necessary.
• Provide adjunct patient care as needed.
• Have an eagle eye and taking notice when resident behaviors change and letting shift leaders know.
  
  

What you'll bring:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
• Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.
• Requires ability to read, write and understand business documents which are written in English.
• Requires ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Requires ability to make self clearly understood by others.
• Requires ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.
• A friendly attitude and a servant's heart.
