Role Description
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3 years of experience to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse litigation caseload while collaborating with experienced attorneys on complex legal matters. The ideal candidate is a confident advocate with strong analytical, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills, the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in Michigan.
- 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation.
- Demonstrated experience managing cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
- Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom presentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload while balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- A proven commitment to professionalism, integrity, and the highest ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.
Pay
From $85,000, commensurate with experience.
